The school opening hours are 8:45am until 2:30pm
Parents and carers are at the heart of everything we do. We know how important their role is, and we’re committed to giving them expert, ongoing support every step of the way.
From their very first enquiry, and throughout their child or young person’s time with us, we’re by their side—offering personalised guidance, practical advice, and a listening ear to make sure they always feel supported, informed, and part of our school community.
Our Family Liaison Officer (FLO)

Joe Allen joseph.allen@theshires.org.uk
Our Family Liaison Officer is here to support you and your child throughout their time at school. They are the friendly link between families and the school, helping to make sure every child’s needs are understood and met.
What the FLO does for you:
- Guides and advises families on school processes, services, and support available.
- Communicates regularly with parents and carers.
- Supports transitions into school, between year groups, or to further education, training, or work.
- Works with other professionals to make sure your child has the right support for learning, wellbeing, and independence.
- Listens to concerns and helps problem-solve, ensuring your voice is heard and valued.
The FLO is here to make your partnership with the school smooth, supportive, and positive, helping your child feel safe, happy, and ready to succeed.
